Sol Katmandu Park and Resort:- Facilities

Formerly known as the Magalluf Park Hotel, which was one of the most popular and best known hotels in the area, the Sol Katmandu Park & Resort has undergone a major renovation programme over the last few years.

The 404 bedrooms built over 10 floors are warm and welcoming, have all been modernised to the highest standard, meeting the demand for bright and modern-looking rooms expected of a present day four star hotel.

The Katamandu Park and Resort is the ultimate in family holidays and in addition to having free use of the adjoining Resort, the hotel offers a variety of entertainment and things to do throughout the day and night.

The recently renovated themed buffet restaurant offers international and local cuisine as well as themed nights (Asian, Italian etc). There is also a child-friendly buffet and food for babies is available.

Weather permitting, the pool bar is open each day from 10am to midnight, where you can enjoy a variety of hot and cold snacks and drinks in between dips in the pool.

At night, the meeting place is Legend's Lounge and Bar which, depending on time of season, is open to 1am, and is where you can relax at the end of the day and enjoy drinks and hot and cold snacks with family or friends.

One place that the kids are certain to head for is the newly opened Steampunk Sweets, which offers a great selection of desserts and sweets.

The hotel also boasts three large outdoor swimming pools and a children's pool, along with two sunbathing areas with complimentary sunbeds and a rooftop sundeck overlooking the pool.

There is nightly entertainment, either indoors or outdoors in the peak summer months, and there is also plenty for the young kids to do too, with the "Kamp Katakidu" Baby Club for those aged 8 months to 4 years, and a Mini Club for those aged 5 to 12 years old.

Both offer supervised fun with the trained team who will guarantee your little ones will go away wanting more. Kids are also treated to themed breakfasts with regular appearances of the mythical Katmandu characters.

Complimentary high speed WiFi is also available in many public areas, along with a 24-hour reception service, night security throughout the hotel, currency exchange, and the hotel offers good access for disabled guests.

All hotel guests receive a free "Play Pass" to the adjoining theme park, with use of many of the facilities free up to 6pm.

An upgrade to "Play Pass Gold" is also available for a small fee payable once in the resort, giving unlimited access to everything in the park up to closing time including the K3 Climb, Asylum and Expedition golf.
